Q. Does this router replace my Modem, Modem Router or ONT Box?A. Modem: No, this router is not a modem. It needs to connect to your existing modem/router or ONT box.
Q. Can you pre-configure the router for my VPN?A. Yes, if you provide your VPN login details, we can fully configure and test the router for you.
Q. What information do you need after I order?A. Please provide your VPN provider's name, username, password, and preferred server (if any) via PayPal notes during payment (remember to save!) or by contacting us after purchase.
Q. What if I'm uncomfortable sharing my VPN credentials?A. WireGuard®: Create and send us a WireGuard® configuration file from your VPN provider's panel.OpenVPN: We suggest changing your VPN password after receiving and testing the router (and updating it in the router settings). Be aware that changing the password might affect VPN certificates, so ask if you're unsure. Our instructions and online videos show how to do this.
Q. What if I don't currently have a VPN yet?A. We highly recommend Surfshark VPN with WireGuard® Protocol for excellent speeds with this router. More recommended providers are listed of recommended VPN Providers HERE .
Q. What's a VPN Kill-Switch?A. It's a crucial security feature we program that prevents your real IP address from being exposed if your VPN connection drops.
